Job summary

Blackline Civil Inc. is seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver to operate tandem trucks on civil construction projects around Edmonton and surrounding areas.

You will support earthworks, utilities and site development, working closely with crews to keep operations moving efficiently. Applicants must have a valid Class 1 license, a minimum of 3 years of driving experience (civil/construction preferred), a clean 3-year abstract, and experience with 18-speed manual transmissions.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 Driver’s License.
• Minimum 3 years of driving experience (civil or construction preferred).
• Clean 3-year commercial driver’s abstract.
• Experience with manual transmissions (18-speed).
• Comfortable working long hours and varying schedules.
• Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused.
• Ability to work well within a team.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate tandem trucks on job sites and haul routes.
• Transport materials such as soil, gravel, and aggregates.
• Complete daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Work alongside crews, operators, and supervisors.
• Maintain clean and safe equipment.
