Job summary

Metro Supply Chain is seeking a Contract Talent Acquisition Specialist to drive full-cycle recruitment across Canada and the U.S. You will build proactive talent pipelines for Finance, HR, Payroll, IT and Operations, and partner with leaders to deliver top talent.

You will source passive candidates, manage relationships with hiring managers, and ensure an excellent candidate experience from initial contact through offer. Hybrid work supports in-person collaboration with flexible remote work.

Qualifications

• 5 years of full-cycle recruitment experience.
• Experience recruiting for mid to senior level roles in Finance, HR, IT, Payroll, and Operations.
• Proven ability to source passive candidates and build pipelines.
• Strong experience using LinkedIn Recruiter and ATS tools.
• Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.

What You'll Do

• Engage in full-cycle recruitment for Shared Services and Operations roles across Canada and the U.S.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand business needs and develop effective hiring strategies.
• Build and maintain talent pipelines for Finance, HR, Payroll, IT, and Operations functions.
• Proactively source candidates through LinkedIn, networking, referrals, and other innovative channels.
• Engage and attract passive candidates while building long-term talent communities.
• Screen, interview, and assess candidates to identify the best fit for both the role and our culture.
• Deliver an exceptional candidate experience from first conversation through offer acceptance.
• Provide market insights and recruitment expertise to hiring managers and business leaders.

What You'll Bring

• 5 years of full-cycle recruitment experience.
• Experience recruiting for mid to senior level roles for Finance, Accounting, HR, Payroll, IT, Procurement, and Operations.
• Demonstrated success sourcing passive candidates and building strong talent pipelines.
• Strong experience using LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS platforms, and other sourcing tools.
• Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
• A consultative approach and the confidence to influence hiring decisions.
• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
