Job summary

Metro Supply Chain is seeking a Proposal & Commercial Operations Lead to drive customer proposals, RFI/RFP responses, and pursuit materials. You will coordinate content, ensure accuracy and compliance, and support CRM adoption across the Commercial team.

You will also enable data-driven decision making by maintaining libraries, templates, and dashboards while collaborating with vendors and stakeholders. Travel as needed in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of progressive experience in Sales Enablement, Revenue Operations, or Growth Strategy.
  • Admin-level mastery of CRMs (HubSpot, Salesforce) with a track record of building and launching tools that teams love using.
  • Strong analytical skills with an intuitive understanding of B2B sales cycles, funnel conversions, and revenue metrics.
  • Proven experience applying AI or advanced workflows/automation to streamline and optimize sales operations.
  • Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication and active listening skills.
  • Prior experience supporting mid-market or enterprise sales environments.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development, coordination, and submission of customer proposals, RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, presentations, and other pursuit-related deliverables.
  • Develop compelling, accurate, and client-focused written responses that clearly articulate Metro's value proposition, capabilities, and differentiators.
  • Maintain proposal content libraries, knowledge repositories, templates, case studies, reference materials, and standardized response documents.
  • Support opportunity qualification, pursuit planning, and bid/no-bid discussions through the preparation of pursuit documentation and customer intelligence.
  • Coordinate customer presentations, site visit materials, executive briefings, and supporting sales collateral.
  • Drive continuous improvement of proposal processes, content quality, response efficiency, and win-supporting best practices.
  • Serve as a HubSpot subject matter expert and primary business administrator for the Commercial team.
  • Coordinates with external vendors, data providers, software partners, and industry resources to support proposal development and CRM effectiveness.
  • Support pipeline management, opportunity tracking, sales stage compliance, and forecasting processes.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, workflows, and automation tools to improve sales productivity and visibility.
  • Recommend and implement CRM process improvements that enhance reporting accuracy, adoption, and commercial effectiveness.

The Proposal & CommercialOperations Lead plays a critical role in supporting Metro Supply Chain's revenue growth objectives by leading the preparation and management of customer-facing proposals, RFI/RFPs, presentations, and pursuit deliverables. Acting as the central coordinator for complex sales opportunities, this role ensures the timely delivery of compelling, accurate, and compliant submissions, ensuring consistency across sales processes and content, and driving innovation and adoption of Business Development enabling technology. The position also supports HubSpot CRM administration, pipeline reporting, and data quality initiatives, while providing research and commercial insights that help the Business Development team identify opportunities and execute winning growth strategies. This role operates in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment, and requires occasional travel.
