Job summary

Amico is seeking a Talent Acquisition Coordinator to support recruitment across the Hazel McCallion project LRT. You will assist sourcing, coordination, onboarding, and new hire integration, ensuring a smooth process for internal and external candidates.

The role requires 2–3 years in talent acquisition, a degree in HR, and strong MS Office skills. Salary ranges from $60,000 to $70,000 CAD annually, with a full-time, on-site work setup in Ontario.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in human resources or related field.
  • 2–3 years of experience in talent acquisition or recruitment coordination.
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment; construction experience is a plus.

  • Partner with Talent Acquisition Manager to support recruitment lifecycle.
  • Coordinate interviews, consolidate feedback, and maintain documentation.
  • Maintain live job postings on the company website.
  • Create forms to comply with recruitment processes.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely updates and alignment.
  • Work with hiring managers on job descriptions and onboarding.
  • Coordinate with IT and HR for onboarding of external candidates.

Job Description

You will be part of our Hazel McCallion project LRT, playing a key role in driving its success and contributing to one of Canada’s most exciting infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Talent Acquisition Manager to support all stages of the recruitment lifecycle, from talent sourcing and candidate coordination to onboarding and new hire integration.
  • Support and facilitate the interview process by participating in interviews, consolidating interviewer feedback, and maintaining comprehensive recruitment documentation
  • Lead the function of keeping the company website updated with live job postings
  • Generate relevant forms to comply with the recruitment process
  • Coordinate communication between internal and external stakeholders throughout the recruitment process to ensure timely updates and alignment
  • Participate in working with hiring managers on the development of job descriptions
  • Coordinate with the broader Human Resources team with onboarding
  • Communicate with Information Technology department to ensure a smooth onboarding for external candidates and secondments
  • Coordinate with HR and community benefits teams for any career fairs or outreach
  • Lead the function of updating the IT team with a forecasting report for upcoming positionsCoordinate with the parent company's Talent Acquisition and Human Resources teams to support recruitment initiatives and ensure alignment with corporate policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or a college diploma in human resources or a related field.
  • 2–3 years of experience in talent acquisition, recruitment coordination, or human resources, with exposure to full-cycle hiring processes
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
  • Experience in a construction environment is an asset
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Strong experience in using Microsoft Suite (MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint and MS Project)
  • Strong Organization Skills
  • Experience in reporting and working on Ad‑hoc reports

Position is a new role. Salary range between $60,000 to $70,000 per annum.
