Job summary

GardaWorld in London, Ontario is seeking a Tactical Security Guard to patrol diverse environments, read surroundings, and respond to incidents. The role emphasizes physical mobility, keen observation, and strong social skills.

You will patrol retail stores, airports, and security facilities, with opportunities for career growth. GardaWorld offers full-time and part-time roles, uniform provided, and access to GardaWorld Academy for ongoing education.

Qualifications

• Authorization to work in Canada.
• Valid Ontario security license.
• First aid certification required.
• Ability to stand and walk throughout shift.

Responsibilities

• Patrol critical areas to spot any suspicious activity
• Check identification and control access to secure areas
• React quickly to threats or incidents and document actions taken
• Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras
• Handle alarms and conduct on-site checks
• Partner with law enforcement during serious incidents

As a Tactical Security Guard, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling environments such as retail stores, airports, security facility centers, etc.
