Job summary

GardaWorld is seeking a Tactical Security Guard in Geraldton, Ontario, for guarding and patrolling critical facilities. You will read environments, anticipate risk and act accordingly while moving through shifts across diverse locations.

Responsibilities include access control, incident response, and collaboration with law enforcement as needed. This role offers full-time and part-time opportunities, with a provided uniform and ongoing GardaWorld Academy education support.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in Canada.
• Hold a valid security license.
• First aid certification is required.
• Ability to stand and walk for long shifts.

Responsibilities

• Patrol critical areas to spot suspicious activity.
• Check identification and control access to secure areas.
• React quickly to threats or incidents and document actions taken.
• Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras.
• Handle alarms and conduct on-site checks.
• Coordinate with law enforcement during serious incidents.

As a Tactical Security Guard, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling environments such as retail stores, airports, security facility centers, etc.
