Job summary

GardaWorld is hiring a Tactical Security Guard in Timmins, Ontario. You will patrol various environments to deter theft, ensure safety, and respond to incidents. The role requires the ability to move around your shift and work in retail, airports, or security facilities.

Shifts are full-time with hours from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm, Monday through Friday. GardaWorld provides education benefits, uniform, and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Be authorized to work in Canada.
• Hold a valid security license.
• First aid certification required.
• Ability to stand and walk throughout shift.

Responsibilities

• Patrol critical areas to spot any suspicious activity.
• Check identification and control access to secure areas.
• React quickly to threats or incidents and document actions taken.
• Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras.
• Handle alarms and conduct on-site checks.
• Partner with law enforcement during serious incidents.

What matters most in a role like this is your ability to read the environment, anticipate risk and act accordingly. Your keen sense of observation and strong social skills are your greatest strengths.

As a Tactical Security Guard, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling environments such as retail stores, airports, security facility centers, etc.

Schedule: Full time position with variable hours, c andidates must be available to work shifts between 10:00 am and 9:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
