Job Description

We address security and technology challenges by developing mission-critical products and systems for international customers. Our Tactical Communication Information Systems (CIS) support Land Forces worldwide. Our engineers ensure soldiers are always aware and never alone.

We are seeking a Junior System Engineer to join our International TacCIS division in Calgary. The successful candidate will be part of a cross-functional team responsible for designing, implementing, and delivering CIS solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze system design and vendor documentation
• Develop and document system designs, use cases, and interfaces
• Maintain requirements and specifications
• Investigate system defects and raise problem reports
• Collaborate across disciplines (Platforms, Development, Systems, Test)
• Support Software Development and System Integration to achieve deliveries

Qualifications

Skills & Experience

• Excellent communication and social skills; ability to foster relationships and consensus
• Strong systems thinking skills for problem-solving and implementing change
• Knowledge of Systems Engineering concepts and processes
• Experience with requirements identification, decomposition, allocation, and verification
• Experience working with various engineering disciplines to develop requirements
• Broad experience in implementation, integration, and qualification

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field

Security
