Job summary

Scarborough Transit Connect (STC) is seeking a System Assets Configuration Coordinator to manage asset information, data collection, and configuration baselines across the Scarborough Subway Extension project. You will support tagging, data quality, and handover activities while coordinating with engineering teams.

The role requires a 2–5 year background in asset/configuration management, familiarity with databases and reporting tools, and exposure to EAM platforms like SAP/Maximo.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, information management, computer science, or equivalent technical training.
• 2–5 years of asset management, configuration management, project coordination, document control, or data management experience.
• Familiarity with asset management principles and lifecycle processes.
• Experience with databases, spreadsheets, and reporting tools.
• Exposure to EAM platforms such as SAP, Maximo, Hexagon or similar systems.
• Knowledge of Power BI, SQL, Python or automation tools is an asset but not required.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

• Support process improvements for asset and configuration management.

Position Title: System Assets Configuration Coordinator

Who We Are

Scarborough Transit Connect (STC) is a joint venture between Aecon and FCC Canada Ltd. that was selected by Metrolinx to deliver the Scarborough Subway Extension – Stations, Rail and Systems (SSE-SRS) package. The Scarborough Subway Extension will bring the TTC’s Line 2 subway service nearly eight kilometers farther into Scarborough. It will extend from Kennedy Station to Sheppard Avenue and McCowan Road, providing quick and seamless transit for those heading into and out of the downtown core and those travelling within Scarborough. The extension will replace Line 3 (the Scarborough RT), helping to reduce travel times and improve access to jobs, schools, and other key destinations throughout the city.

As part of this project, we are currently looking for a System Assets Configuration Coordinator to join our team.

What You Will Do

Experience You Will Bring

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Information Management, Computer Science, or equivalent technical training.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in asset management, configuration management, project coordination, document control, engineering support, or data management roles.
• Familiarity with asset management principles and asset lifecycle processes.
• Experience working with databases, spreadsheets, and reporting tools.
• Exposure to EAM platforms such as SAP, Maximo, Hexagon, or similar systems.
• Understanding configuration management principles and change control processes is considered an asset.
• Familiarity with Power BI, SQL, Python, or automation tools is an asset but not required.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

Compensation: $90,000 - $100,000 annually.

The listed salary range reflects potential base pay and considers factors such as experience, education, and training. Each candidate is evaluated individually and offers toward the higher end may be extended to those with exceptional qualifications.
