Job summary

Definity is seeking a co-op student to support sustainability, inclusion, diversity, equity and accessibility initiatives. Reporting to the Senior Sustainability Integration Manager, you will work with internal stakeholders on climate project deliverables, coordinate employee engagement and inclusion efforts, and assist with grant administration.

The role offers hands-on experience in data analysis, stakeholder collaboration, and community investment activities, with opportunities to contribute

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a degree in Sustainability, Environment, Community Development, Business, or related.
• Passion for shaping a more sustainable, connected, and equitable world.
• Ability to collect, organize, and analyze data using Excel.

What can you expect in this role?

Reporting to the Sr. Sustainability Integration Manager, the successful candidate will support sustainability, IDEA (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Accessibility), and community investment initiatives. Key areas include working with internal stakeholders to assist with climate project deliverables, project coordinating employee engagement and inclusion initiatives as well as grant administration and data analysis to identify social impact themes and trends.

• Currently enrolled in a degree in Sustainability, Environment, Community Development, Business, or related
• Passion for shaping a more sustainable, connected, and equitable world
• Ability to build strong relationships and champion new ideas
• Strong communications skills (written/verbal)
• Ability to collect, organize, and analyze data using Excel
• Results oriented with project management skills and commitment to meeting deadlines
• Team player but also feel comfortable working independently

The hourly compensation for the role starts at $22.50 per hour and will increase based on factors including but not limited to, skills, education, experience, and the recommended rates as set by the respective educational institution.
