Job summary

Definity invites a Winter 2027 co-op student to join our Sustainability team. Reporting to the Sr. Sustainability Integration Manager, you will support climate, inclusion, and community investment initiatives within a collaborative, hybrid work environment.

You’ll work with internal stakeholders, coordinate engagement, assist grant administration and analyze data to identify social impact trends, while developing practical experience for your future career.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a degree related to Sustainability, Environment, Community Development or Business.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collect, organize and analyze data using Excel.
• Project management skills with ability to meet deadlines.
• Team player who can also work independently.

Responsibilities

• Support sustainability, IDEA (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Accessibility) and community investment initiatives.
• Coordinate climate project deliverables with internal stakeholders and manage engagement activities.

What can you expect in this role?

Reporting to the Sr. Sustainability Integration Manager, the successful candidate will support sustainability, IDEA (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Accessibility), and community investment initiatives. Key areas include working with internal stakeholders to assist with climate project deliverables, project coordinating employee engagement and inclusion initiatives as well as grant administration and data analysis to identify social impact themes and trends.

The hourly compensation for the role starts at $22.50 per hour and will increase based on factors including but not limited to, skills, education, experience, and the recommended rates as set by the respective educational institution.
