Job summary

Stantec’s Buildings group is seeking a Sustainability Consultant with integrated design expertise to lead LEED and sustainable building projects. You will manage scope, schedule, and budgets, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and mentor other sustainability professionals to deliver high-impact projects for clients in the data center and large-scale building sectors.

Preferred candidates hold LEED AP BD+C; WELL credentials are a plus.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Project Management experience in a related field.
• LEED AP BD+C accreditation required.
• WELL AP and other sustainability credentials preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate LEED certification processes on projects (WELL, Fitwel as applicable).
• Drive project work: set priorities, procedures, scope and schedule with Studio Lead and Practice Lead for Environmental & Sustainability Services.
• Delegate and oversee tasks to Sustainability team members.
• Manage projects through all lifecycle stages: Initiation, Planning, Execution, Monitoring & Control, Closure.
• Develop Sustainability scopes of services, fee estimates and proposals.
• Pursue opportunities to expand services and generate repeat business.
• Communicate with clients to manage expectations and ensure positive outcomes.
• Maintain records and keep stakeholders informed of financial status.
