Keltic Geomatics is seeking two skilled and detail-orientated Survey Crew Chief with a minimum of 2+ years of experience, residing in the Lower Mainland, BC or willing to relocate.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to work with state-of-the-art equipment, learn innovative techniques, and advance their career, all within a supportive and close-knit team environment.

This position requires night shift work on a 6 & 1 rotation, with night shift differential.

Responsibilities

• Proficient with field survey systems and software such as GPS and Total Stations.
• Conduct accurate construction layouts and asbuilts.
• Self-motivated and must be able to work independently and with minimal supervision.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and follows instructions set out by management.
• Proficient in performing field calculations and maintaining accurate notes.
• Adaptable to working in diverse geographical locations, weather conditions, and climates.
• Submits required documentation to office staff, including field notes, calculations, and other survey data.
• Performs all health and safety duties as identified in the company's safety procedures.
• Ability to work effectively during night shifts.

Experience

• Proven experience in a surveying role with a strong understanding of data collection techniques.
• Proficient using conventional survey instruments, total station, digital levels, and GPS equipment.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all aspects of work.
• Experience with CAD Drafting Software is an asset but not required.
• Strong communication skills and fluent in English (spoken and written).
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a construction surveyor.
• Hold a valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Must be a resident of the Lower Mainland, BC or willing to relocate.
