Job summary

GardaWorld is seeking a Surveillance Security Guard in London, Ontario. You will monitor CCTV and alarms, respond to threats, document incidents, and patrol the premises to ensure safety across construction sites, parking lots, and entry points.

Strong observation, attention to detail, and ability to work with a range of teams are essential. This role offers full-time and part-time shifts with uniform provided and ongoing GardaWorld Academy training.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in Canada.
• Valid security license required.
• First aid certification preferred.
• Strong report writing skills essential.
• Good eyesight and high focus levels needed.
• Technical proficiency with security systems.
• Ability to stand and walk throughout shift.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect suspicious activity.
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats.
• Document events and incidents with detailed reports.
• Conduct regular foot patrols to secure premises.
• Control access to restricted areas and verify visitor IDs.
• Analyze security systems for vulnerabilities or malfunctions.
• Coordinate with law enforcement in emergencies.
