GardaWorld is seeking a Surveillance Security Guard to monitor security systems, patrol premises, and control access at locations in Mississauga. The role emphasizes vigilance, rapid incident response, and accurate reporting.

Ideal candidates have a valid Ontario security license, a WSIB first aid certification, and at least one year of security experience. The position is full-time, with daytime to evening shifts and uniform provided.

• WSIB approved first aid certification is required.
• Minimum 1 year security experience.
• Minimum high school diploma.
• Strong report writing skills are important.
• Good eyesight and focus are essential.
• Proficiency with technology is expected.
• Ability to stand and walk throughout shift.

Responsabilités

• Monitor security systems to detect suspicious activity.
• Respond quickly to incidents or threats.
• Document events and incidents with detailed reports.
• Conduct regular foot patrols to ensure premises safety.
• Control access to secure areas and verify visitor IDs.
• Analyze security systems for vulnerabilities or malfunctions.
• Collaborate with law enforcement in emergencies.

As a Surveillance Security Guard, you will be the person spotting threats before they escalated in environments such as security operation centres , call centers, construction sites, parking lots and gatehouses, etc.
