Job summary

GardaWorld is seeking a Surveillance Security Guard for a high-security environment in St. Anthony, NL. This role focuses on assessing situations, recognizing risks, and acting with sound judgment while maintaining security protocols.

Starting pay is CAD 26 per hour with probation increases and benefits. GardaWorld Campus training is provided, and uniform costs are covered for ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Federal Enhanced Reliability Security Clearance.
• Clean criminal background check with Vulnerable Sector Check.
• Background in law enforcement, police services, corrections, or care for vulnerable persons is an asset.
• Professionalism, discipline, integrity, and the ability to perform under pressure.
• SSATL

Responsibilities

• Provide continuous surveillance of persons in a controlled environment.
• Perform wellness checks at 15 minute intervals, in accordance with security standards and procedures.
• Identify and report risk situations or medical concerns.
• Respond professionally, calmly, and in compliance during sensitive situations.
• Accurately complete official documentation and observation reports.
