This non-clinical role emphasizes forecasting, vendor coordination and cost-efficient, standardized supply use across ORs. Strong collaboration with MDRD and Supply Chain is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in Operating Room environments is required or preferred.
• Minimum of three years in purchasing or supply chain roles.
• CSCMP/CSCL designation is preferred or actively pursuing.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
• Strong organizational and prioritization abilities in fast-paced settings.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate procurement of surgical supplies and manage purchase orders.
• Maintain inventory using par levels and FIFO to avoid stockouts.
• Interface with vendors for pricing, trials and issue resolution.
• Support OR case forecasting and align supplies with schedules.
• Collaborate with MDRD, Supply Chain and nursing teams for operational support.
• Participate in quality improvement and cost‑containment initiatives.
