Qualifikationen

• Grade twelve or equivalent.
• Recent experience in medical records management required. (2 years preferred)
• Knowledge of medical terminology required.
• Demonstrated knowledge of governing privacy legislation.

Aufgaben

• Ensures all components of the operating room booking package are in the medical record.
• Verifies CSS OR dates are within the expedited time frame.
• Confirms written approval is in the medical record for all OR bookings.
• Ensures approved surgical quotes are confirmed where necessary.
• Notifies and coordinates with referral sources for convalescent services when needed.
• Provides the Manager, Surgical Services with copies of all OR booking forms.
