Clearpoint Health Network Inc. invites applications for a Casual Registered Nurse position at the brand-new Still Creek Surgical Centre in British Columbia.

You will join a dedicated team delivering world-class perioperative care in a purpose-built, state-of-the-art facility with a focus on safety and patient-centered care. The role requires 2–3 years of acute care OR experience, active or eligible BC nursing registration, and CNAs perioperative certification or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with active or eligible registration in British Columbia.
• Completion of an accredited nursing education program with 2–3 years of recent acute care operating room experience.
• Canadian Nurses Association perioperative nursing certification or equivalent in education/experience.

Position : Casual

Benefits working at Still Creek Surgical Centre

• Wages $60/hr
• Completion of an accredited nursing education program combined with 2 - 3 years' recent experience in an acute careOperating Room
• Active/eligible for registration and practice permit with the British Columbia College of Nursing Professionals.
• Canadian Nurses Association (CNA) perioperative nursing certification/Completion of a post-secondary educational institution perioperative nursing program/Equivalent in education and experience.
• Experience collaborating with interdisciplinary team of care providers, with emphasis on assessment, education, prevention, maintenance, and restoration of patient health

Physical Requirements:

• The work environment is physically demanding and may require different levels of physical exertion, such as lifting and transferring patients.
• Must be able to lift/push/pull more than 25 pounds.
• There is a lot of above shoulder requirements for prepping and positioning patients.
• At times, RNs may work in challenging and stressful circumstances, such as in an emergency situation.
• During the course of their work RNs may be exposed to blood, body fluids, infectious diseases, chemicals and other safety hazards.
