Job summary

Lift Community Services in Powell River, BC is hiring a Support Worker for supportive housing. The role focuses on safe, inclusive living, helping tenants with daily living, encouraging independence, and building community connections.

You will work with housing, maintenance, janitorial, and kitchen teams to provide direct tenant support, address safety concerns, and maintain a respectful, team-based environment. 12-hour shifts rotate day and night to meet resident needs.

Qualifications

The Position

The Support Worker contributes to a safe, supportive, and inclusive living environment by supporting tenants with daily living, encouraging independence, and promoting community connections. Working collaboratively with housing, maintenance, janitorial, and kitchen staff, the position collaborates with the team to provide direct tenant support, communicates safety concerns, and contributes to a respectful, team-based environment.

  • Collaborates as part of a team with high expectations for accountability, inclusivity, and respect
