Job summary

Sunpan Trading & Importing Inc. is seeking a Supply Planner to partner with Merchandising and Purchasing to manage inventory levels, forecast demand, and align supply with customer demand for our commercial and residential ranges.

You will analyze inventory turnover, coordinate with suppliers, and generate KPI reports while working cross-functionally with procurement, logistics, sales, and customer service to drive continuous improvement in our supply chain.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary diploma or degree in Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, Inventory Management, Economics or equivalent.
• 2+ years of progressive Supply Planner or related experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
• Knowledge of SAP is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Inventory Planning: Develop and execute inventory planning strategies to maintain optimal stock levels.
• Demand Forecasting: Analyze market trends and historical data to forecast demand.
• Order Management: Monitor and manage purchase orders to ensure timely delivery.
• Supplier Coordination: Liaise with suppliers to confirm order details and resolve issues.
• Inventory Analysis: Review stock levels and identify slow-moving items.
• Reporting and Documentation: Generate KPIs and inventory metrics.
• Collaboration: Work with procurement, logistics, sales, and customer service.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve supply chain processes.
• Attend evening calls with North American stakeholders for cross-time-zone collaboration.
• Occasional factory visits for operational oversight.
