Job summary

Flanagan Foodservice Inc. is seeking a Supply Chain Planner to manage the strategic and tactical forecasting, planning and replenishment of inventory for a portfolio of products.

You will balance supply and demand to meet fill rate and inventory turns in a fast-paced environment and support customer-facing sales teams. The role requires strong analytical ability, experience with ERP systems and a focus on continuous improvement in supply chain efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Supply Chain Planning/Buying with a major retailer, global distributor or food manufacturer.
• Experience with ERP systems and forecasting & replenishment software such as JDA.
• Strong understanding of inventory management practices.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• APICS certification preferred – CPIM, CSCP.

Responsibilities

• Forecasting and replenishment of food and beverage items and other categories as assigned.
• Achieve inventory level, inventory turns, and fill rate objectives.
• Issuance of Purchase Orders and communication with vendors and carriers to maintain continuous supply.
• Collaborating with territory managers to understand market conditions, sales and demand trends and adjust stocking position accordingly in ERP.
• Seasonal forecasting and promo management and planning.
• Manage obsolete inventory and write-offs pertaining to the portfolio.
• Provide supply chain planning support and coverage for team as required.
