An established educational institution is seeking qualified Educational Assistants to support students with special needs. This is a posting targeting qualified Educational Assistant applicants for supply in the following schools and geographical areas:
HOURS OF WORK:
1.00 FTE = 33 hours and 50 minutes per week
Rate of Pay: $28.51 + 4% vacation pay, as determined by the principal.
Job Summary:
The successful candidate will be responsible for working with students with Special Needs (specifically physical and intellectual disabilities and behavioral or other learning difficulties). The Educational Assistant, as a professional and integral member of the school team, is responsible for the provision of academic, physical and emotional support to students with exceptional needs within the school in order to encourage student independence and the development of unique talents of individual students.
