Job description

This is a posting targeting Custodial Applicants for supply in the following schools and geographical areas:

St. Peter the Apostle Catholic School, Parry Sound, ON

Saint Mary's Catholic School, Huntsville, ON

Monsignor Michael O'Leary Catholic School, Bracebridge

St. Antoine Daniel Catholic School, Victoria Harbour, ON

Rate of pay: $23.23 + 4% vacation pay

Job Summary:

The Custodian is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of school buildings and equipment; ensuring compliance with Board, local and provincial government operational and health and safety standards.

Skills & Qualifications:

  1. Secondary School Diploma or equivalent
  2. Must be compliant with H & S guidelines
  3. Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations for Industrial Establishments
  4. Must have updated WHMIS training
  5. Good interpersonal skills in dealing with adolescents and the general public.
  6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  7. Ability to prioritize the completion of custodial activities within assigned area in the school.
  8. Must be in good standing as based on a history of both satisfactory job performance and attendance

Salary: As Per Collective Agreement
