Supply Custodian

Position Hours: Up to 8 hours per day

Rate of Pay: $23.23 + 4% vacation pay

Job Summary: The custodian is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe school environment; ensuring compliance with Board, local provincial government operational and health and safety standards.

As a Supply Custodian, you also have the opportunity to apply for Permanent Part Time and Full Time Permanent Custodial positions within the Board. Anywhere from 1/2hr to 8hrs per day permanent hours. Positions are awarded as per the posting process within the Collective Agreement.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Secondary School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be familiar with Health and Safety guidelines.
• Board specific online training, including WHMIS 2015, will be required prior to job commencement.
• Good interpersonal and customer service skills in dealing with the school community and general public.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to prioritize the completion of custodial activities within an assigned area in a school.
• Must be computer literate and be able to communicate via email.
