The Position
We are seeking candidates for the Ticket Usher role, responsible for providing excellent customer service by seating and assisting patrons in our 5,000-seat entertainment complex. If you are passionate about delivering exceptional service and being part of a vibrant team, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
- Greet patrons and provide exceptional customer service.
- Provide directions and check ticket validity using handheld devices.
- Seat patrons efficiently and in an orderly manner.
- Respond to customer inquiries and concerns.
- Adhere to departmental and company policies, working closely with Security.
- Assist patrons during emergencies in a safe and organized manner.
- Participate in crowd control as needed.
- Perform additional tasks assigned by leadership.
- Support team approach by responding to questions and assisting colleagues.
- Comply with Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario regulations.
- Note: The role may be physically demanding, involving climbing stairs, standing for long periods, and lifting items up to 25 lbs.
What You’ll Require
- Previous experience as a ticket usher or similar role is an asset.
- Experience in entertainment venues (theatre, concert halls, etc.) is preferred.
- Ability to handle customer concerns courteously and promptly.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Flexibility to work all shifts as required.
- Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- French language skills are an asset.
- All employees are expected to comply with Occupational Health and Safety duties and policies, demonstrating a positive safety attitude to maintain a safe environment.
