The Position

We are seeking candidates for the Ticket Usher role, responsible for providing excellent customer service by seating and assisting patrons in our 5,000-seat entertainment complex. If you are passionate about delivering exceptional service and being part of a vibrant team, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

1. Greet patrons and provide exceptional customer service.
2. Provide directions and check ticket validity using handheld devices.
3. Seat patrons efficiently and in an orderly manner.
4. Respond to customer inquiries and concerns.
5. Adhere to departmental and company policies, working closely with Security.
6. Assist patrons during emergencies in a safe and organized manner.
7. Participate in crowd control as needed.
8. Perform additional tasks assigned by leadership.
9. Support team approach by responding to questions and assisting colleagues.
10. Comply with Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario regulations.
11. Note: The role may be physically demanding, involving climbing stairs, standing for long periods, and lifting items up to 25 lbs.

What You’ll Require

1. Previous experience as a ticket usher or similar role is an asset.
2. Experience in entertainment venues (theatre, concert halls, etc.) is preferred.
3. Ability to handle customer concerns courteously and promptly.
4. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
5. Flexibility to work all shifts as required.
6. Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
7. French language skills are an asset.
8. All employees are expected to comply with Occupational Health and Safety duties and policies, demonstrating a positive safety attitude to maintain a safe environment.
