Job summary

Lactalis Canada, located at our Winchester, Ontario plant, is seeking a Logistics Administrator for a temporary period from November 2026 to August 2027. You will coordinate shipments, manage inventory, and ensure timely, accurate deliveries of cheese and butter to domestic and export customers.

The role requires a college diploma in business, 3+ years in customer service, and strong MS Office and SAP skills. Salary range is competitive with benefits and long-term opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate shipments of cheese and butter to customers by taking sales orders and planning deliveries in coordination with Shipping Department and external warehouses.
• Coordinate cheese transfers between warehouses for customer orders.
• Ensure that customer requirements are met by selecting best product to meet customer needs, monitoring the progress of shipments, and ensuring results are satisfactory.
• Organize grading of multiple cheese types according to the grading procedure. Shipments and transfers of cheese between plants.
• Monitor proper rotation of production dates for cheese and butter.
• Reconcile inventory at external warehouses with perpetual inventories.
• Identify problem inventories and coordinate with plants and quality team for resolutions.
• Coordinate customer returns with the Quality group by advising details of the issue/non-conformity to Quality Control, as product cannot be returned without Quality Control authorization. Advise Shipping, Receiving and Sales departments. Assist with returns investigation by determining root cause analysis and notifying Sales of disposition of returned product(s).
