Job summary

Located at our Winchester, Ontario plant, the Logistics Administrator ensures orders are filled on time and accurately, coordinating with Shipping and external warehouses. This role includes grading cheese and organizing transfers to meet customer needs for domestic and export shipments.

The position is temporary from November 2026 to August 2027, offering a competitive salary, retention bonus, and opportunities for Learning & Development within Lactalis Canada.

Qualifications

• College diploma in business administration.
• Minimum three years experience in a customer service environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word & Excel), Outlook, and SAP.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate shipments of cheese and butter to customers by taking sales orders and planning deliveries.
• Coordinate cheese transfers between warehouses for customer orders.
• Ensure customer requirements are met by selecting best product and monitoring shipments.
• Organize grading of multiple cheese types according to grading procedure.
• Monitor production date rotation for cheese and butter.
• Reconcile inventory at external warehouses with perpetual inventories.
• Identify problem inventories and coordinate with plants and quality team for resolutions.
• Coordinate customer returns with Quality group and assist with root cause analysis.
