Job description

Responsibilities:
  1. Develop, implement, monitor, and maintain supply chain management strategies that increase the efficiency and speed of supply operations.
  2. Develop, maintain, and implement best practices.
  3. Collaborate and communicate with other managers within the team to identify and close any gaps in policy and procedures.
  4. Collaborate with internal departments to identify and improve efficiency.
  5. Build and maintain supplier relationships to ensure reliability and cost-effectiveness.
  6. Review supplier purchasing programs with buyers to ensure optimal pricing within budget.
  7. Maintain a strong understanding of warranty processes.
  8. Manage and optimize inventory levels across all product lines to meet customer demand while minimizing excess stock.
  9. Standardize processes and enhance systems to improve efficiency and data visibility.
  10. Maintain the database to ensure accurate part numbers, pricing, descriptions, and reorder points.
  11. Oversee warehouse operations to ensure cycle counts and inventory accuracy.
  12. Prepare and submit weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports.
  13. Monitor costs and stay within allocated budgets, preparing relevant reports.
Skills:
  1. Proven experience in purchasing and inventory management.
  2. Strong knowledge of supply chain principles and warehouse distribution practices.
  3. Proficiency in data analysis skills.
  4. Familiarity with warehouse management systems and their application in optimizing inventory processes.
  5. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  6. Strong communication skills.
  7. Excellent planning and problem-solving skills.

The successful individual will be expected to take ownership of their position and work closely with Branch Managers, Purchasing, Sales, Warehouse teams, and all internal departments within the Parts and Aftermarket group.
