Job summary

JFEShojiPowerCanadaInc, based in Burlington, Ontario, is seeking a Supply Chain Coordinator to ensure smooth flow of materials through purchase orders, supplier partnerships, and logistics. The role supports on‑time delivery and quality across our manufacturing processes.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in supply chain or manufacturing, strong Excel skills, and the ability to coordinate across freight, customs, and warehousing.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Business, Supply Chain, or related field.
• Experience with Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs and formulas).
• Lean concepts and supplier development is an asset.
• Able to read and interpret technical drawings (AutoCAD familiarity is an asset).
• Knowledge of JFE Shoji Power Canada systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create and track purchase orders to completion.
• Coordinate inbound freight by truck, rail, ocean container, and ocean bulk.
• Compile manifests and ensure data accuracy across systems.
• Verify shipped quantities and update logistics statuses for inbound materials.
• Maintain product flow between branches with timely processing and follow-up.
• Coordinate and manage customs clearance documents (CBSA) and port releases.
• Resolve issues by coordinating with vendors, analysts, freight providers and brokers.
• Liaise with vendors, transport teams, analysts, customs brokers and ports to ensure smooth operations.
• Meet Value Stream KPIs (On-Time In Full, Supplier Rating, Quality).
• Ensure materials flow according to priority and storage requirements.
