Job summary

Price Industries Limited in Winnipeg, Manitoba, is seeking an Administrative Assistant to support the team with certificate management, supplier onboarding, and record-keeping. This role involves filing, data verification, and cross-functional collaboration to maintain accurate documentation.

You will track KPIs, assist monthly and quarterly reports, and perform related duties in a fast-paced environment while delivering excellent customer service and integrity.

Qualifications

  • Grade 12 education or equivalent is required.
  • Administration course or certificate is an asset.
  • Excellent computer skills with MS Office.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the team.
  • Request, collect, and file mill certificates from suppliers; reconcile to the purchase order and part number.
  • Verify certificates for accurate data; contact suppliers for missing information.
  • Log and store certificates in a centralized, searchable file accessible to cross-functional teams.
  • Annual collection of supplier onboarding and recertification documents; reach out to suppliers, file and maintain database.
  • Daily KPI tracking and benchmarking.
  • Assist with Monthly and Quarterly reports as requested.
  • Perform miscellaneous duties as required.

The Successful Candidate's Responsibilities Will Include
  • Provide administrative support to the team.
  • Request, collect, and file mill certificates from suppliers; reconcile to the purchase order and part number.

  • Scan mill certificates received by receiving in and itemize for accurate record keeping when necessary.
  • Annual Collection of Supplier onboarding and recertification documents, reach out to suppliers, file and maintain database.
  • Daily KPI tracking and benchmarking.
  • Assist with Monthly and Quarterly reports as requested.
  • Perform miscellaneous duties as required.
The Ideal Candidate For This Position Will Have
  • Grade 12 education (or equivalent) plus a minimum of 1-year related experience.
  • Administration Course or Certificate Program or experience is an asset.
  • Ability to work within fast-paced deadline-oriented environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in an environment of rapid change and shifting priorities.
  • Excellent computer skills - MS Office applications.
  • Strong multitasking skills and proven ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
  • Possesses strong customer service skills, both verbal and written.
  • Has strong work ethic and integrity.
