Job summary

Price Industries Limited seeks an organized Administrative Assistant to support our Vaughan plant. You will handle day-to-day admin tasks, manage inquiries, and maintain production and shipping records. Strong MS Office skills and ERP familiarity help you succeed in a fast-paced production setting.

Experience in manufacturing is a plus. The role emphasizes accuracy, communication, and efficient coordination with suppliers, customers, and internal teams.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the plant and management team.
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls, emails, and general inquiries.
  • Enter, update, and maintain production, shipping, receiving, and administrative information in company systems.
  • Prepare reports, spreadsheets, forms, and other documentation as required.
  • Assist with production scheduling, order tracking, and follow-up on outstanding items.
  • Support Shipping & Receiving with paperwork, documentation, and shipment coordination.
  • Prepare shipping documents, packing slips, labels, and other required paperwork.
  • Assist with purchasing activities, including purchase orders, supplier follow-up, and tracking deliveries.
  • Monitor office and plant supplies and coordinate replenishment as required.
  • Maintain organized electronic and paper filing systems
  • Support onboarding and administrative requirements for new employees.
  • Coordinate meetings, visitors, deliveries, and general plant administrative activities.
  • Assist supervisors and managers with reports, data collection, and special projects.
  • Communicate with suppliers, customers, carriers, and other company locations as required.
  • Ensure administrative records are accurate, current, and properly maintained.
  • Help identify opportunities to improve administrative processes and reduce paperwork or duplication.
  • Perform other duties and administrative tasks as assigned.

Schedule
  • Monday to Thursday: 9:00 Am to 3:00 Pm
  • Friday: 9:00 Am to 1:30 Pm
The Successful Candidate's Responsibilities Will Include

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is an asset.
