Education

• Post Secondary Education
• OHA Housekeeping Supervisor Certificate or equivalent

Experience

• 2-5 years progressive supervisory experience in Support Services within a hospital or institutional environment
• Knowledge of WHMIS, Occupational Health & Safety legislation, PIDA Guidelines, and Environmental legislation
• Understanding of cleaning, linen, and waste management services
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
• Computer literacy and good reading comprehension
• Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
• Good work and attendance record
• Compliance with legislated practices of the Occupational Health and Safety Act of Ontario
• Commitment to a culture of patient and staff safety, adhering to policies and procedures
• Responsible for protecting psychological health and safety of staff and oneself
