This position involves overseeing daily net asset value calculations, authorizing fund prices, and coordinating team activities to ensure accurate and timely fund accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Review daily net asset value calculations and authorize fund prices, ensuring accuracy of information used.
  2. Coordinate and monitor team work, assign accounts, and schedule tasks, including recommending overtime and staff vacations.
  3. Provide leadership through training, coaching, supervision, and motivation; conduct performance reviews.
  4. Serve as a resource for team members for resolving escalated issues from clients, agents, and auditors.
  5. Review expense accruals and month-end audit packages for accuracy.
  6. Conduct team meetings to communicate updates and developments.
  7. Collaborate with management to develop and monitor standards, procedures, and controls.
Qualifications
  • University degree with a focus on accounting.
  • 3 to 5 years of progressive experience in fund accounting.
  • Canadian Securities Course certification.
