About the Role:
The Superviseur(e) Assurance Qualité – Département Liquide will oversee quality management systems (QMS) and food safety systems for the liquid department (including liquor and chocolate production) at Barry Callebaut’s second largest site. The role involves ensuring compliance with quality programs, regional and global initiatives, and implementing effective food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Provide strong and visible quality leadership on the factory floor for the liquor and liquid departments.
  • Oversee the implementation and sustainability of quality and food safety systems.
  • Manage activities related to quality assurance, support problem resolution, and oversee quality investigations.
  • Participate in Gemba Walks, manage KPIs, support new product launches, and contribute to continuous improvement projects.
  • Develop training materials and SOPs, train and coach operators, manage customer inquiries and investigations, and ensure product safety compliance.

About You:

  • 3-5 years’ experience as a Quality Coordinator or similar role.
  • Degree in Food Science or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years’ experience in quality, with formal HACCP and GFSI standards training (preferably FSSC22000).
  • Experience in large-scale food manufacturing with multiple lines and shifts.
  • Bilingual in English and French, with strong communication skills.
  • Deep knowledge of HACCP, GMP, pathogen monitoring, and facility design.
  • Preferred certifications: PCQI, audit certifications, allergen management experience.
