Job summary

LKQ Corp. recherche un superviseur senior pour diriger les processus de démontage au quotidien dans le département assigné. Vous coordonnerez les ressources avec la direction et garantirez le respect des exigences clients et des règles de sécurité.

Le candidat idéal possède une expérience en supervision, un diplôme pertinent et une maîtrise des outils bureautiques; un diplôme bac est un atout et ASE est apprécié. Poste basé dans les Laurentides, Canada, sur site.

Qualifications

• Diplôme d’études secondaires ou diplôme équivalent et 3 ans+ d’expérience dans un métier spécialisé.
• Expérience préalable en supervision ou en rôle senior lead est un atout.
• Certification ASE est un plus.
• Maîtrise des outils bureautiques courants (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Lead person assigned to the dismantling department to ensure processes are followed, safety requirements and customer-specified work is completed according to the schedule.

Essential Job Duties

• Primarily lead the day-to-day dismantling processes to make sure they are completed for the assigned department.
• Coordinate with management to ensure there are sufficient resources to meet the customer demands.
• Abide by the Company Policies such as attendance, safety, processes, teamwork, training, etc.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Assume other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities

• Supervise the work of others, including planning, assigning and scheduling work, reviewing work and ensuring quality standards, training staff and overseeing productivity.
• May offer recommendations for hiring, termination and pay adjustments, but do not have final responsibility for making these decisions.

Minimum Requirements

High School Diploma/GED. 3 years+ in specialized profession or equivalent; Proficient in specialty including prior senior lead experience.

Preferred Requirements

Bachelor's Degree. ASE certifications are a plus.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages and to draw and interpret graphs.

Frequent use of Outlook, Word, Excel, graphics, etc.

Ability to create, maintain and incorporate functions into Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, databases, and PowerPoint presentations to support business objectives.

Regularly uses moderately complex oral and written skills.

May train others in functional areas, interact with others and make presentations to department or middle management.

Problems encountered are routine, somewhat repetitive and generally solved by following clear directions and procedures.

Decisions generally affect one’s own job or assigned functional area.

Results are defined; sets personal own goals and determines how to achieve results with few or no guidelines to follow; supervisor/manager provides broad guidance and overall direction.

Handle multiple tasks or projects simultaneously with moderate complexity.

Essential Physical Demands/Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, reach, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or sit for extended periods. The employee may be exposed to hazardous situations, conditions, and equipment. Must be able to work in cramped spaces or underneath vehicles that may require getting into awkward positions. May regularly wear personal protective equipment (PPE). May be exposed to extreme temperatures and high noise levels. Travel may be required periodically, including overnight stays (contingent on position requirements). Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds.
