Job description

Supervised Instructor Therapist (ABA Therapist)

As a Supervised Instructor Therapist (ABA) on our team, you are an integral part of our specialized services for clients with Autism Spectrum Disorders or other developmental disabilities. You will work with an interdisciplinary team of experts to support your clients in achieving their goals. Our commitment to excellence goes beyond the way we serve our communities. Employment setup: Part-time. Hourly.
Salary: $21-23/hr
Work setting: Center-based and community-based in Mississauga
Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday from 4pm - 7pm EST, Wednesday from 12:45 noon - 4:15pm EST.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and conduct comprehensive (intensive) ABA therapy sessions
  • Collect and graph data
  • Maintain client binders and materials
  • Maintain daily written communication logs with family and other staff
  • Demonstrate therapy sessions to families and other professionals as required
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team
  • Uphold Centre policies and procedures
  • Attend training sessions, workshops, online courses, etc. as set out by Monarch House
  • Attend Monarch House social and public events
Minimum Requirements:
  • Positive attitude, organized, and passion for learning
  • Willing to complete Criminal record check with Vulnerable Sector Screening
  • Legally authorized to work in Canada
  • Available for hourly shifts that can build to full time
  • Available at the above times (but may not be scheduled for all)
  • Currently hiring to build capacity for intake inquiries (i.e., slow schedule build)
