Job summary

NorthPac Forestry Group Ltd. in Terrace, BC, invites energetic forestry students to join our field teams for a season, focusing on silviculture planning, surveys, and site data collection across blocks and roads.

As a summer student, you will gain exposure to multiple facets of our forestry operations, work outdoors, and build practical experience under supervision, with compensation ranging from CAD 4,800 to CAD 5,500 per month plus 4% vacation pay.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a forestry or natural resource management program.
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors.
• Willing to operate off-road vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Complete silviculture surveys and planting layout.
• Supervise silviculture contracts and site planning.
• Assist in timber cruising, road data collection, and inspections.
