Job summary

Town of Oakville is hiring a part-time Camps Coordinators - Inclusion for the summer program. You will assist in operation, delivery and evaluation of inclusion camps and supervise Senior Leaders and Inclusion Support Workers.

The role requires training participation, adherence to policies, and support for inclusive programming as part of the Recreation and Culture department. This is a summer student position with dates and trainings outlined in the posting.

Qualifications

• Current (within 3 years) Intermediate First Aid with CPR C, valid until 2027-09-04.
• CPI is an asset.
• BMS training must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
• HIGH FIVE PHCD certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and supervising camps and staff.
• Train and evaluate staff and volunteers.
• Ensure safety and HIGH FIVE principles in all activities.
• Manage program materials and record-keeping.
• Coordinate registration, medical info and emergency contacts.
• Attend mandatory trainings and support senior leaders.
