Job summary

The Town of Oakville is seeking an Inclusion Support Worker for a part-time summer camp. You will assist a Senior Leader and on-site staff in providing inclusive activities for campers with disabilities, while promoting safety and positive behaviour. Training includes HIGH FIVE PHCD, first aid, and mandatory sessions.

Must be 16+, with current First Aid/CPR C, PHCD certification, CPI asset, and vulnerable sector check. Availability May–September 2027 and strong teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Current First Aid with CPR C certificate valid through 2027.
• PHCD (HIGH FIVE) certification required prior to duties.
• VSC dated within 60 days of offer.
• CPI is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide inclusion support to participants with exceptionalities and ensure safety and inclusion of activities.
• Assist in planning and leading inclusive programs for all registered participants.
• Collaborate with parents/guardians and staff to develop behaviour plans as needed.
• Support and promote HIGH FIVE principles and health and safety guidelines.
• Attend mandatory training sessions and participate in program-related duties.
• Maintain accurate logs and documentation for participants and activities.
