Job summary

The Jim Pattison Auto Group is seeking a Service Attendant for Jim Pattison Toyota Victoria to maintain vehicle presentation and support the Service department. You will ensure vehicles are clean, organized, and ready for customers while handling guest vehicles with care.

This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week role. A BC driver’s license is required and pay ranges from $19.00 to $21.00 per hour, depending on experience, with benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• A valid BC Driver’s license is required, including a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract report.
• Previous automotive-industry experience is considered a strong asset.
• Ability to operate both automatic and manual transmissions is preferred.
• Strong customer-service skills with a friendly, approachable attitude.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities.
• Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
• Physically active role with outdoor work in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and monitor the cleanliness, organization, and overall presentation of customer vehicles, including exterior washing and interior cleaning.
• Maneuver, arrange, and relocate guest vehicles with care.
• Promptly report any potential issues with vehicles or dealership property.

• Participate in maintaining a supportive and engaging working environment.

I ntroduction

The Jim Pattison Auto Group is seeking an energetic, reliable, and organized Service Attendant to be the pillar of support for our Jim Pattison Toyota Victoria dealership. As a supporting role for our Service department, you’ll play a key part in ensuring that our vehicles are well presented to our customers.

You’ll take pride in delivering an excellent experience, being detail oriented, and ensuring every interaction reflects our strong commitment to our customers. This is a great role to start your career in the automotive industry, with limitless opportunities for growth and progression.

Schedule : This is a full-time, permanentrole of 40 hours per week.

Pay Range : $19.00 to $21.00 per hour, depending on experience

This role reports to the Service Managerof the dealership.

What We’re Looking For

• This is a physically active role and requires the following:
  • Frequent walking throughout the dealership building and lot
  • Walking and/or standing for long periods
  • Frequent operation of automatic and manual transmission vehicles
  • Washing vehicles, which may include use of various cleaning products and frequent bending, crouching, and reaching
  • Significant time spent outdoors in various weather, including sun, rain, wind, snow, cold, and heat. Weather conditions are monitored for safety as needed
