About The Role

As a Banana Republic stylist, you will help create aspirational and on-trend looks that enhance the customer's emotional connection to the brand. You should be an expert in styling and fashion, with a thorough understanding of designers, brands, and seasonal trends. Your role is to contribute to a positive, friendly, and inclusive environment that inspires our customers and makes them feel welcome. Your goal is to grow the business by providing an outstanding customer experience.

What You'll Do

• Take inspiration from credible fashion references, including current style icons and influencers, and translate that into styling solutions for customers.
• Engage authentically with customers to understand their styling needs.
• Serve as a Brand storyteller, creating experiences that drive sales and achieve store goals, with the customer as the primary focus.
• Demonstrate values and behaviors aligned with our Words to Live By.
• Assist in creating an inclusive environment where customers and employees feel a sense of belonging.

Who You Are

• Experience in styling within luxury fashion or strong knowledge of trends and designer brands, capable of translating that into customer solutions.
• Effective communicator with experience in building meaningful customer connections and brand loyalty.
• Flexible to work shifts that meet business needs; adaptable scheduling may be available.
• Able to navigate the salesfloor, stockroom, and office, and lift up to 30lb with or without accommodations.
• Passionate about hospitality, fashion, and styling.
• Comfortable engaging with customers.
• Team player and a champion of Gap Inc. culture.
• Curious with a “can do” attitude.
