Job summary

SkyBox Labs in Burnaby, BC, is seeking a Senior Studio Coordinator for an 18-month, in-person contract. You will balance receptionist duties with dynamic coordination, ensuring a smooth studio environment in a hybrid culture.

Your role includes liaison across guilds, event planning, facility operations, and safety programs, reporting to the Senior People Experience Manager. This is a full-time in-studio position five days a week.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in coordination, admin, facilities, operations, or project management in a modern, tech-forward environment.
• Customer-centric, proactive, service-oriented mindset.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills for managing tasks, events, and studio-wide updates.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily studio operations including ordering of office supplies, desk allocations for hybrid team members, mail outs, shared spaces, and vendor relationships.
• Be the main operational partner for five discipline-specific guilds and numerous clubs.
• Liaise with building management, janitorial staff, and external contractors to execute projects.
• Support team logistics such as catered lunches, and other ad hoc administrative or coordination requests.
• Lead Health and Safety programs, contributing to a safe, organized workplace.
• Assist with planning and executing studio events, providing input and follow-through on tasks.
• Support Marketing with internal communications.
• Internal point of contact between corporate travel partner and staff.
