Qualifications

• Minimum Grade 12 diploma.
• Educational assistant diploma or equivalent preferred.
• NVCI, First Aid, Autism/Behavioral background assets.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with diverse needs and/or high behavioral needs.
• Transport students as required.
• Attend to personal hygiene and medical needs.
• Prepare and plan student-based life skills and academic programming under teacher direction.
• Focus on transitioning the student to work with others.
• Implement behavior and safety plans for students.
