School District No. 22 is seeking a dependable Noon Hour Student Supervisor to oversee students during lunch. The role runs five hours per week over the 10-month school year and begins as soon as possible.

The incumbent will monitor, supervise and direct students at noon, handle minor first-aid, report incidents, and complete required incident reports and safety documentation. This is a CUPE Local 5523 union position with a $25.45 hourly rate.

Qualifications

• Grade 10 or equivalent is required.
• Six months experience dealing with children, such as volunteering or parenting.

SchoolDistrictNo. 22 has a position available for a dependable, caring individual as Noon Hour Student Supervisor starting as soon as possible. This position is one hour each day (five hours per week) for the (10 month) school year.

Under the supervision of the school principal, you will monitor, supervise and direct students during school lunch times. You will deal with minor first-aid cases as required, report incidents and complete required incident reports, infraction or safety concerns as and when required.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Grade 10
• Six (6) months previous experience in dealing with children, such as volunteering or parenting

Services will not be required on In-Service and Non-Instructional Days.

WAGE: 25.45

SHIFT: Noon (12:20-1:20 pm)

This is a union position, CUPE Local 5523 and the hourly rate of pay is $25.45 plus a percentage in lieu of vacation and statutory holiday pay.
