Job summary

The Hamilton-Wentworth Catholic District School Board is seeking a Lunchroom Supervisor to join the school's support staff. The successful candidate will oversee students during lunch periods in the lunch room, classroom, and on school grounds to maintain safety and security.

Responsibilities include supervising students, coordinating with school staff, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols. A Vulnerable Sector Check and fitness verification are required prior to hiring.

Responsibilities

• Provide lunch break supervision of students in the lunch room, classroom, and outdoors to ensure safety.
• Monitor student behavior and support a secure lunch environment.
• Collaborate with school staff and report concerns to the principal.

Qualifications:

Rate: $17.60 per hour plus 4% vacation pay.

Description:

The successful applicant will be reporting to the School Principal and join the school's support staff team to provide lunch break supervision of students, both in the lunch room/classroom as well as outside on school grounds to ensure the safety and security of students.

Current, completed and clear Vulnerable Sector Check will be required prior to hiring along with a fit test to ensure the candidate is physically fit to perform the core responsibilities of the role.
