Job summary

Oxford Learning Edmonton Tamarack is seeking a dynamic Education Coordinator to guide students and families toward academic success in a hands-on, in-centre setting. You will help organize schedules, conduct assessments, and support teachers while upholding the Oxford Learning philosophy.

The role requires commuting to the Tamarack location, a university degree, and strong communication and computer skills. Bilingual French is an asset; the position offers weekday evenings and Saturday shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum university degree (Social Sciences, Languages, Math or Business preferred).
• Strong Secondary/High school Physics/Math skills are an asset.
• Additional language (French) is an asset.
• Experience in educational environment dealing with medium to large student bodies.
• Experience with billing cycles and customer service (sales background is a plus).
• Strong computer skills (Google Workspace and online communication apps).

Responsibilities

• Inform inquiring parents about Oxford Learning programs.
• Organize schedules for students, staff, and teachers.
• Set up and administer assessments.
• Establish and oversee student learning programs.
• Liaise with schools, sports teams, and local businesses.
• Maintain contact with parents and discuss child progress.
• Ensure Oxford Learning philosophy is maintained at the centre.
• Create a fun and energetic daily learning environment.
• Coach other teaching staff on the teaching philosophy.
