Posting Summary Competition Number 20251437SS Position Title Student Research Assistant - Psychology Faculty/Department Faculty of Arts Unit Arts-Psychology Employee Group CUPE 2419 CUPE 5791 Job Family Category Student Number of Vacancies 6-8 Position Summary This position will be a casual position, about 6 hours per week, starting the last week of June and continuing until the end of August, 2025.
This position will primarily involve working with a team to complete training and then conducting interviews with children to support a psychology study focusing on memory and perceptions of school-aged children.
This work will be done at the University of Regina campus between 11:30AM-1:30PM on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays during the above noted timeline. Position Requirements a) enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology (BA or BSc) or the Certificate in Forensic Psychology
b) experience with working with children or familiarity with forensic psychology and/or child development literature
c) strong communication skills
d) ability to provide a criminal records check (with volunerable sectors) Physical Demands N/A Pay Grade As Per CUPE 2419 Salary Range Per CUPE 2419 agreement Status Casual Work Hours 6 per week on an as needed basis.
