Job summary

NorQuest College in Edmonton is seeking an Enrolment Operations and Registrar role focused on expanding domestic enrollment through targeted recruitment strategies, information sessions, campus tours, and community partnerships.

Reporting to the Team Lead, Admissions & Supports, the Student Recruiter will manage leads in the CRM, engage diverse audiences, and collaborate across departments to inform prospective students about programs, admission requirements, and student services.

Qualifications

• Completion of a university degree or equivalent post-secondary credentials.
• 2-3 years in admissions, student services, recruitment, or sales.
• Experience in public speaking and delivering presentations.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Proficiency with CRM systems and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate to design, implement, and evaluate recruitment strategies.
• Recruit via presentations, information sessions, community outreach, recruitment events, social media platforms, and one-on-one engagement.
• Establish, develop, and maintain relationships with community organizations, educational partners, government-funded agencies, Indigenous communities, and other stakeholders.
• Respond to prospect and influencer inquiries regarding programs, admission requirements, student services, career pathways, and college information.
• Capture, track, and nurture prospective student leads through the CRM system and support lead-to-applicant conversion activities.
• Organize, coordinate, and participate in recruitment events including open houses, information nights, college tours, career fairs, trade shows, and community events.
• Develop and deliver engaging presentations and outreach activities to diverse audiences.
• Build and maintain positive working relationships across the college and with external partners.
• Monitor recruitment activity, enrolment trends, labour market information, and conversion data to evaluate outcomes and inform planning.
• Travel for events and occasional evenings/weekends as required.
