Job summary

NAIT is seeking an Indigenous Recruitment Specialist to support Indigenous enrolment and diversity initiatives. You will coordinate recruitment activities, provide guidance on admissions, and build relationships with Indigenous communities across Canada.

The role involves travel, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and supporting program outreach strategies. Ideal candidates have a post-secondary diploma, experience with Indigenous communities, and strong intercultural communication.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary diploma required; Bachelor's considered an asset.
• Experience with Indigenous communities is an asset (1–3 years).
• Experience with domestic student recruitment or enrolment management is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Assist with developing operational plans aligned with the Indigenous Recruitment Strategy.
• Plan, attend, or present at recruitment activities for Indigenous students.
• Provide outreach to Indigenous applicants and follow up on qualified leads.
